Recording and consent

This page explains what we record in a human feedback session, who sees it, and the choices participants have.

What we record

Screen recording is standard. Microphone audio is preferred, with a text-feedback alternative where appropriate. Webcam video is optional and used only when there is an agreed research purpose, such as a study of facial reactions.

We record only the application window where practical, and sessions use test accounts and dummy data.

What we do not collect

We do not ask for government ID, we do not use facial recognition, and we do not collect personal information that is not relevant to the session.

Purpose

Recordings are used to produce the customer’s feedback package: findings and suggestions backed by the moment in the session that prompted them.

Who sees it

The customer receives the session evidence and findings for their product. Our operators and contracted service providers (hosting, transcription) may process it as needed. We do not sell it.

Participant identities

Customer deliverables refer to participants by ID (for example, P-017), not by name or contact details. We disclose whether a transcript is AI-generated and whether it was manually verified.

Consent and withdrawal

We ask for your consent before recording. You can pause or stop at any time. You can ask us to delete a session before it is delivered to the customer; after delivery, deletion may be limited by the customer’s own records and any legal obligation.

Retention

We keep session evidence only as long as needed for the pilot, any agreed retest, and legal obligations, unless we agree otherwise in writing.

Contact

Questions or requests about a recording can be sent through the form on the home page.
